About the Comic
Demonpop is a comic project that actually first popped into my head almost a decade ago, but it has taken a lot of time (and motivation!) to get going, and finally I have some art to show for that wait. This is mostly meant to be a private project, simply to help improve and explore my artistic abilities since (usually) I don't end up doing a whole lot of art and illustration.
Even saying that though, I ran into a good friend last night (at the time of writing this however) who reminded me that artistic skill, abilities, and even having the ability to share your art with others is ephemeral. I don't really know what DemonPOP will become, but rather than worrying so much about what it should be, I'm going to refocus on what it is and see if I can keep up with an update schedule.
Which reminds me, currently this comic is set to update bi-monthly. That may shorten in the future as I get the hang of things.
Thanks for reading!
About the Author
I am a 28 year old Telecommunications engineer living deep in the mountains in Steamboat Springs, CO - many natural hot springs bubble to the surface here, and throughout the year I am surrounded by some iconic scenery that has helped cultivate some of the ideas that will go into Demonpop.
Ironically, I also happen to be an artist, and have a great love for both Japanese culture and comics/cartoons/manga/anime. If you'd like to get to know me better, I recommend visiting the chatroom or by visiting my blog and reading about the little things that amuse me there.
